Sicilian almonds are a sweet variety of almonds that are perfect for biscuits and cakes. Add whole almonds to biscotti, or use to decorate cakes. Lightly toast the almonds before using to get more of a roasted nut flavour, or use straight from the pack for a more delicate sweet flavour.

Sicilian almonds are also great served as an aperitif with sparkling wine. Toast in a dry pan and season simply with salt, or get creative and season with spices.
